Danceathon for GOSH- Great Ormond Street Hospital
Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) is a specialist children hospital offering 63 different specialities- it offers the UK’s widest range of health services for children on one site.
40% of GOSH patients are aged under 4
Every day, 618 children arrive at GOSH.
Our support can give seriously ill children the best chance to fulfil their potential and ensure that they get the best possible care in fantastic facilities.
Every other year we raise money for our designated charity GOSH. On alternate years we run a ‘Sports relief’ charity event. This year, Tiny toes ballet schools ran a Teddy bears Picnic and Danceathon to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital. Our pupils took part in a danceathon- all themed around a picnic/ tea party that was linked in with our Teddy Bears picnic theme that term. Everyone that took part enjoyed dancing and grooving to tiny toes music along with a good old bit of Justin Fletcher and Baby Shark.
Once the dancing had finished everyone threw there blankets on the floor and shared their picnics. And what a fabulous teddy bears picnic it was, before each receiving a Tiny toes water bottle and certificate.
In total, Tiny toes ballet raised and donated over £3000
Miss Emma, our founder and director, and Miss Bianca, our tiny toes Staffordshire franchise owner were lucky enough to travel to London to personally hand over the cheque and perform for the children. You can read about their visit HERE
