Emma Morgan, our founder and director joined Jess and Eleanor at their award ceremony this weekend at the Village Hotel & Spa for an evening of awards, fine dining and dancing….and wow, the evening did not disappoint. With Miss Jess winning Arts, Literature and Dance Club and Miss Eleanor winning Highly Commended in the Best New Start Up. Here's what Miss Emma, Miss Jess and Miss Eleanor have to say. Get the tissues out, you may need them!

Miss Emma

I am so proud of these two ladies this evening. Tiny toes ballet- Jessica Barnes, WINNER of Best Arts, Literature and Dance Provider in Wales and Eleanor Čaplikienė, RUNNER UP Best New Start up of the Year. What an amazing team! These two ladies have worked so hard in their first year of buisness, and it is wonderful for them both to be recognised in this way. They have both achieved so much already. I am excited to see what 2020 brings!

Miss Jess

I am still a little bit flabbergasted - I love what I do, and the fact that I am somehow impacting so many little lives, helping to shape the future generation, making a positive impact on their health, wellbeing and confidence, is something I can hardly get my head around. It is such an incredible feeling!

I failed to prepare an acceptance speech, so here are a few Thank You's I was too shocked to remember last night:

Thank you Wales CASA for recognising businesses and people within this sector, and for such an incredible, heart-warming, fun Awards evening. A big thank you to Emma from Tiny Toes Ballet for this beautiful creation and all your support. Shout out to the members of the Jury who must have had the toughest job, as well as Eden Events for sponsoring the category. And of course my out-of-this-world network of family and friends, near and far, who never fail to root for me.

But the BIGGEST THANK YOU goes to all of those wonderful little human beings with their own beautiful personalities that walk through the ballet doors week in, week out - making me smile and filling my heart with such joy, and their grown-ups for returning again and again!

(Well done if you made it to the end of all that!!  I'll try to always prep an acceptance speech from now on )

Miss Jess prepared a beautiful video introduction to her school before the awards. Take a look

Miss Eleanor

THANK YOU all SO much for your kind words, encouragement and support yesterday and this past year. From the bottom of my heart. Each and every one of you make a huge difference to my life. Allowing me to build the life I want within and around my business and letting me nurture the lives of your little ones too. I am blessed and so proud.

Last nights award ceremony was brilliant. Thank you Wales Children's Activities and Services Awards for a wonderful evening and choosing me as Highly Commended in Best New Start Up Business.

Last night Miss Jess from Tiny Toes Ballet Bridgend & Vale of Glamorgan also won an award- Best Arts, Literature and Dance group. And I am so proud of her. Miss Jess started her business the same time as me last year so we did our training together and have been there with the weird late night questions when we can’t figure out a solution to something. Not only has Jess become my friend but my little girl is in Miss Jess’s Twinkle Toes class and I couldn’t think of a better teacher for her

And to Miss Emma, the tiny toes founder. Miss Emma’s support and advice is never far from hand I am so glad that she made her dream come true by opening Tiny Toes Ballet all those years ago and then trusted me to take on her Flag Ship school in Swansea.

In a nutshell..... thank you!! 🖤
