"We were incredibly impressed by the quality of your provision a few weeks ago. Teachers praised the thought and detail that had clearly gone into the planning and say that outcomes in terms of standards were outstanding. I just want to thank you for the experience you provided for our young learners - it was unique."

Mrs R. Davies, Headteacher Waunarlwydd Primary School

As experienced educational practitioners in physical development and movement, with over 15 years’ experience of teaching EYFS children, we offer bespoke workshops and creative sessions for mainstream and special needs schools for children from 3- 11 years old.

In August 2019, as part of our extended school year programme of activities, Tiny Toes Ballet Ltd delivered a ballet, mime and movement workshop to patients and siblings at The Children’s Hospital School, here at Great Ormond Street. The 2 hour workshop was a huge success.  Approximately 12 children took part, mostly aged 3-11 years and with a wide range of access needs and abilities. The session finished with a short performance for families and carers which  was very well received. Emma and Bianca were highly motivated and skilled in leading and facilitating the session, ensuring  that all the children were included and able to participate to their full potential. The workshop provided many excellent learning opportunities and was safe and fun. On the basis of our recent experience, I would thoroughly recommend Tiny Toes Ballet Ltd to other school, nursery and hospital settings.

Anthea Hawke, Leading Practitioner SEN The Children’s Hospital School at Great Ormond Street & UCH

Children have an innate desire to move, respond to music and role-play and our ethos focuses on a child-centred approach to learning.

Our workshops can be planned around any theme such as Space adventure, Weather, Travel, Traditional stories, Down in the Jungle, Under the sea, Welsh Fables, Historic topics, or Traditional dances from specific countries for example. We create a bespoke lesson for your class using your current terms learning objectives and teaching outcomes (including Curriculum Cymreig if required).

As well as gaining in confidence, self-esteem and well-being from the session, pupils will also meet specific cross-curricular learning objectives and outcomes. After the dance session, the teacher will be left with a comprehensive plan, lots of ideas and resources.

Example of a workshop created for the class topic 'Castle and Dragons'.

The dance workshop incorporated numerous planned learning objectives and was centred around the Welsh Fable of 'Dinas Emrys'.
