Ten years ago, Lauren took her very first step into the world of tiny toes ballet. What began as a small business in Cardiff has grown into three thriving franchise areas and a wonderful success story within the tiny toes ballet dance franchise family.
Starting with tiny toes ballet Cardiff, Lauren built a warm, welcoming environment where children could discover a joy of dance and build confidence. Over the years, her passion for children’s dance has helped her grow her business to include tiny toes ballet Newport and tiny toes ballet Monmouthshire, Torfaen and Blaenau Gwent, bringing the magic of dance to hundreds of families across South Wales. Lauren has poured dedication, enthusiasm and care in her growing dance franchise over the past ten years.
Reflecting on this incredible milestone, Lauren shared:
“I am so thrilled and proud to be celebrating 10 years of owning my tiny toes ballet school. When I started my journey 10 years ago I had a 3 year old and 5 year old and was at a place in my career where I was wanting to find something of my own to share my love of dance. When I first approached Emma for a teacher position I never dreamed I'd be sat here 10 years later with 3 schools and having brought dance to so many little ones.
It brings me so much joy to see children enjoying dance and the confidence, expression and creativity that it brings to their lives. We recently celebrated with a show bringing all three schools together, including 250 dancers, named, 'Our Greatest Show'! I found myself taking a step back at one point and looking around at all the dancers and families and my team and really felt such pride and happiness that this is what I have created. There were a lot of happy tears the whole weekend! I absolutely would not have been able to build our schools to what they are today without my incredible team of teachers both present and past and have been so honoured and lucky to have had such amazing women work with me over the 10 years.
When I was little I was always super shy but loved to dance. Lots of dance schools were strict and the teachers shouty and my goal has always been to be able to share my love of dance with children in a way that's fun, nurturing and inclusive, and for me tiny toes has been just that!
Thank you to Emma for creating such an incredible programme and all her support. I'm so proud of everything my team and I have built and the joy of dance and learning to dance that we have been able to share with so many little ones.”
Lauren’s journey perfectly reflects what makes the tiny toes ballet dance franchise so special; creating joyful, nurturing and inspiring children’s dance experiences that positively impact families and communities. Her classes continue to help little ones grow in confidence while discovering a lifelong love of movement and music.
Everyone at tiny toes ballet is incredibly proud to celebrate Lauren’s 10-year milestone and everything she, her team and her schools have achieved. Here’s to ten wonderful years of children’s dance, magical memories and inspiring little dancers and to many more exciting years ahead.
