We are thrilled to share some heartwarming news: we have committed to sponsoring another child at Hope House Uganda.
An update on Mariam
You may remember the first student we sponsor, Mariam, who has blossomed into a hardworking, respectful young lady, always smiling and giving her best. Many of you will also recall that, through our pen pal initiative last year, Mariam and her classmates received letters from tiny toes ballet children here in the UK. It was such a special project, helping to build friendships across continents and showing Mariam just how many people care about her journey. She absolutely treasured receiving those letters, and her teachers told us how proud she felt to share them with her peers.
We are now delighted to extend our support to a second child, little Uditah. She has just started her education in baby class at Hope House, opening the door to a brighter future full of opportunities. Her inspiring mother, Choice, has also begun secondary school - an incredible achievement after the many challenges she has faced. Despite being shunned when she bravely returned to school as a young mother, she persevered and went on to finish primary school with the top marks in her class. Her determination is nothing short of extraordinary, and now both she and her daughter are taking exciting new steps in their education.
Now, with the support of Hope House and sponsors like tiny toes ballet, her daughter Uditah has the chance to grow, learn, and thrive in a safe, nurturing environment. We are humbled to play a small part in their journey and inspired by the hope and opportunity education brings.
At tiny toes ballet, we feel privileged to play even a small part in this journey. With every step forward, Mariam, Uditah, and their families remind us that when we come together, we can transform lives - one child at a time.
Hope House Uganda is run by a dedicated woman in Manchester, who continuously seeks sponsorship and support for the school. If you would like to learn more or contribute, you can visit their website here.
