Miss Gaby trained and performed with the Royal Ballet but the strictness and stuffiness didn't suit her at all, so she escaped to Italy to dance in a circus, much to her parents disappointment! She had a long career in West End Theatre musicals such as Starlight Express, Joseph and His Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, Annie Get Your Gun, Chicago, Saturday Night Fever, Follies, On Your Toes, Contact and Grease. She is in the Joseph and His Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat movie and Phantom of the Opera movie. She won the International Ballet and Tap Awards and was awarded a grant for her training from Cosmopolitan's Dancer of the Year award. For seventeen years, she was Principal of a renowned children's performing arts school, expanding it to become the largest part-time performing arts school in West London with over three hundred students. But Miss Gaby wanted to come home to Essex and opened Tiny toes ballet here introducing little ones to ballet in a way that Miss Gaby never had.
